Creator of Dear Abby column dies

The creator of the long-running advice column, Dear Abby has died after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Pauline Phillips died Wednesday.
For more than 40 years, Dear Abby supported equal rights for women and minorities. The column also promoted AIDS awareness and education.
Her daughter, Jeanne Phillips, took over the column from her mother more than a decade ago.
Pauline Phillips was 94.
