CULVER, Ind. -- The Town of Culver has sent out reminders for drivers and residents in Culver in the wake of the large amount of snow on the ground.

They ask drivers near snow plows to slow down, stay out of the plows' snow clouds, remain a safe distance away from plows, and give plows room to operate.

They also ask that drivers only pass plows when necessary and never pass on the right or when plows are working in tandem.

The Town of Culver also notes plows are clearing main roads first before moving onto side streets and alleys.

Lastly, the Town of Culver also asks residents to move vehicles off the streets to allow crews to completely clear the street and to avoid shoveling or blowing snow into the street.
