Dancing with our Stars raises record breaking amount

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A record breaking amount of money was raised Friday night for the Center for the Homeless.

Preliminary numbers show that $350,000 was raised. More than $200,000 in which came from voting.

In 2011, Dancing with Our Stars brought in, a then record, $300,000.

Friday's amount is the highest during the biggest fundraiser for the center.

On Friday night, 275 homeless men, women, and children stayed at the Center for the Homeless at a cost of $39 per person.

ABC 57's Brian Dorman, Monica Ott and Emily Pritchard danced to Proud Mary, the glee version. You can see the full video of the team dancing below.
