SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A protest is expected to take place on Friday at a property where Amazon will soon begin operations.
According to an event page on Facebook, protesters will demonstrate in front of the building, located at 112 W. Jefferson Blvd. starting at 3 p.m.
The protest is in reaction to what some are describing as Amazon’s poor labor practices and inadequate pay.
Although the Amazon facility on Chet Waggoner Court remains in the setup phase, there are signs posted up around the property.
