Deputies conducting death investigation at Weatherstone Village

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Porte County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was found deceased inside a home Tuesday afternoon.
Just after noon, someone called 9-1-1 about a possible body at a home in the 3000 block of Edgebrook in the Weatherstone Village mobile home park.
When deputies arrived, they made contact with a person inside the home and he exited without incident, deputies said.
Deputies went inside the residence and found a man dead inside.
The case remains under investigation.
Deputies say there are no threats to nearby residents.
