GOSHEN, Ind. - This month, the City of Goshen will be hosting a Green Day Celebration in honor of this month’s First Fridays, which takes place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on May 5.  

This month's celebration is partnered with The Environmental Resilience Department and the Goshen Shade Tree Board to raise awareness about sustainability. 

The event will feature live music from Goshen’s elementary school choirs and live bands, an array of food, a petting zoo and family-friendly activities. 

Downtown establishments like The Electric Brew will feature specially made Cinco de Mayo menu items such as horchata lattes, Mexican hot chocolate and habanero dark chocolate brownies. 

The Goshen Theater is celebrating Green Day by letting the first 100 students (under 18) pot a plant of their choosing to take home.
