MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports deputies responded to the 13000 block of Michigan Road around 3:53 p.m., Monday, for a two-vehicle crash.

Authorities determined a 2008 Lincoln Navigator, driven by an 18-year-old Argos woman, was traveling north on Michigan Road, when they began to slow down for a vehicle turning into a driveway.

At the same time, a 2010 Nissan Versa, driven by 52-year-old Deanna Sheppard-Campbell of Argos, failed to slow down for slowing traffic, colliding with the Navigator's rear-end.

Sheppard-Campbell was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

The teen driver's juvenile passenger was assessed by medics on scene and released.
