Early morning reports of explosions at South Bend facility

SOUTH BEND --- Early Sunday morning there were reports of several explosions at the Honeywell Facility.
South Bend Fire got a call about 5:40 a.m.
The Batallion Chief said there was a gas buildup in the furnance which caused a backfire.
He says the fire was contained inside the furnace and there was no noticeable damage.
All workers were evacuated and were able to return shortly after.
