EDWARDSBURG, Mich. -- Many garages, barns, and houses in the Edwardsburg area have been covered in tarps over the past few days amid the second-round storm.
A homeowner, who did not want to appear on camera, described the intensity of the tornado and what happened Tuesday night.
"Yeah, wheels all home started raining, and then started hearing the train sound, and house started shaking. The son came down from upstairs. My wife came out of the bedroom. They went, they went down to this basement, and then I stood behind a wall from the kitchen to the bathroom, and they made it. Made it down to the first landing, and then it was all over with. Took about 30 seconds."
Other homeowners said the storms hadn't done any more damage, and that all of their roofs were watertight.
