GOSHEN, Ind. -- Electric Brew in Goshen is supporting those on the front lines of Ukraine from Indiana. They have raised over $13,000 from the sale of its specialty Kyiv cake, Frappe and latte.
The drinks are topped with blue whipped cream and yellow sprinkles, the two colors on Ukraine’s national flag.
Electric Brew’s owner says they’re glad they’re able to do something so simple to make a big difference.
"A number of people told me ‘We’ve been thinking about where we give our money’ because there wasn’t any place to give so this was a great opportunity to give,” owner Myron Bontrager said.
The money raised will go to the Mennonite Central Committee, an organization that's worked in Ukraine since 1920 and is currently helping emergency relief efforts.
