Elkhart Community Schools welcomes alum as new girls' tennis coach
Elkhart Community Schools: Haley Stouder ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Community Schools announced local alum, Haley Strouder, has been hired as the new head coach of the girls' tennis program.
Strouder, a lifelong Elkhart resident and 2014 graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School, was a key member of a historic girls' tennis team that achieved unprecedented success in program history, said school officials.
This included NLC conference, regular season, and tournament titles, plus sectional, regional, and semi-state championships before finishing as state finalists.
"I am incredibly honored to return to the community that shaped me," said Stouder. "My goal is to draw on my championship-level experience to help our athletes develop both on and off the court. By focusing on strong fundamentals, a competitive mindset, and effective match strategy, I am dedicated to empowering our young women to grow as athletes, teammates, and leaders."
Stouder is also a three-time graduate of Purdue University and currently works in Accounting and HR at Pro Fleet Transport.
