ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Elkhart health officials and political leaders are still working to increase vaccination rates and lower vaccine hesitancy.
A bi-partisan push was launched Wednesday to get more Elkhart residents to roll up their sleeves.
This push is part of a resolution that was passed by the Elkhart City Council in effort to get more people and city workers immunized.
The Elkhart County Health Department will be hosting another “walk-in” Moderna vaccine clinic on Tuesday at Millersburg Elementary School from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Anyone 18 and older are just asked to bring a form of identification with them to the clinic.
Residents can also schedule an appointment ahead of the clinic by calling 2-1-1.
The second Moderna dose will be available to everyone attending on June 8 at the same time.
