ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday that a 30-year-old man was charged with five counts of Child Molesting as a Level 1 Felony in Elkhart County, among other related charges.

The 30-year-old man, Jacob Lemaitre, has been charged with five counts of Child Molesting, one count of Child Molesting - Fondling as a Level 4 Felony and one count of Incest with victim less than 16 years old.

Allegedly, Lemaitre confessed to the molestation in an interview at the sheriff's office on Thursday, Jan. 29, estimating that he did so 20-to-50 times.

Lemaitre's initial hearing has been set for Thursday.
