Elkhart Jazz Festival kicks off today

This weekend the streets of Elkhart will be filled with music as the 28th annual Jazz festival kicks off Friday afternoon.
It all starts at 3:30 p.m Friday with a free concert on civic plaza from the Gene Knific trio.
For some performances you will need a pass or buy a ticket. But if you are low on cash, no worries.
There will be free performances every hour until the night ends. Those will all happen on the civic plaza on Main Street. Free performances include the Dave Bennet quartet, Kris Brownlee and Rica Obsession.
