Elkhart Police arrest pair on meth charges
Elkhart Police conducting a welfare check arrested two people at a residence on South West Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.
Officers sent to 222 South West Boulevard at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday observed items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, so they secured the scene.
After receiving a search warrant for the residence, officers say they found several active meth labs, meth, drug paraphernalia and syringes.
A child in the home was removed from the home and placed into the custody of the Department of Child Services.
Two dogs were removed from the residence by the Elkhart County Humane Society.
Terry Lindsey, 40, was arrested for maintaining a common nuisance, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a syringe, neglect of a dependent and possession of paraphernalia.
Danielle Lindsey, 33, was arrested for maintaining a common nuisance, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a syringe, neglect of a dependent and possession of paraphernalia.
