Lexington Avenue water main replacement meeting open to public

ELKHART, Indiana – Elkhart officials will be holding a meeting open to the public to discuss replacement of the water service lines and water main on Lexington Avenue between West Boulevard and Riverside Drive.

The meeting is scheduled to occur on June 12 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the McNaughton Park Pavilion located at 701 Arcade Avenue.

There will be discussion on possible layouts and lead service line replacements.

The public is invited to learn more about the safety and long-term public health benefits of the project and the short-term impact to traffic, yards and property.
