Elkhart revival: President Obama returns

Several people began to line up at Concord High School early Wednesday morning to see President Barack Obama.

President Obama is expected to highlight the progress made in both Elkhart and the rest of the country, since his first visit to Elkhart.

When President Obama first took office, the unemployment rate in Elkhart was at 19.6%.

Now, it’s at 4.1%.

Clifford Bailey was the first person in line on Wednesday to see President Obama.

“I’m sitting out here early this morning, me and my wife will be the first ones to see the President, be as close as we can to him, opportunity to shake his hand,” said Bailey.
