ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office will be on the lookout for drivers ignoring stop lights.
The sheriff’s office says it wants to try avoiding crashes at stop lights due to drivers ignoring stop lights when yellow or red.
Each year Elkhart County has approximately 400 crashes at stop lights.
The sheriff’s office sent a video to remind people saying, “Running a red light is dangerous and saving a minute or two is not worth your or someone else’s life.”
