Elkhart student charged with possession of narcotics

A Concord High School student was arrested Friday afternoon for drug possession, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department.

Around 2 p.m., school administrators contacted the sheriff's department after a 15-year-old student was found to be in possession of oxycodone and had consumed alcohol, according to the sheriff's department.

The juvenile was arrested and released to a family member pending a juvenile court hearing.
