Elkhart woman breaks free of kidnapper

ELKHART, Ind. -- A woman says she was kidnapped and barely able to escape Sunday morning at the hands of someone she may know.
The reported kidnapping happened at Carriage House Apartments in Elkhart.
She told officers a man kidnapped her and injured her, but she was able to break free.
It's unclear what lead up to this or how it all unfolded.
Investigators aren't releasing information about this case until Monday.
No arrests have been made.
