SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- It is an end of an era for one downtown South Bend building.
The old First Source building on Jefferson is getting rid of its original elevators.
That means saying good-bye to the elevator attendants. Friday was their last day on the job.
ABC57 rode up with 71-year-old Dora Moore who says the best part of her job is the people.
"It becomes to be like a family to you. You know, you know their face, you may not know their name," Moore said. "You know what floor they're going on, and like I said everyone is so nice."
The new elevators will be automated.
Moore told us there no hard feelings. She just has to find something else to do.
