Ernie Johnson to leave "Inside the NBA" after 2026-27 season

Ernie Johnson (X) SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A longtime presence in television sports is stepping away from one of his most visible roles.
In a video posted on X, Ernie Johnson announced that the 2026-27 season with Inside the NBA will be his final. Johnson has been a part of the show for over three decades.
Johnson says the decision came from a desire to scale back his professional life, as well as focus on family obligations.
