Evidence presented at Berrien County murder hearing

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Today the Berrien County's Prosecutor's office began presenting evidence in the shooting death of 25-year-old Gary Alilovich of Niles.
Jovan Davis,28, of of Benton Harbor is charged with murdering Alilovich. His sister 19-year-old sister Ashley Davis is facing charges of being an accessory in the case.
Both Jovan and Ashley were scheduled for preliminary hearings at 1:30 p.m. in Judge Gary Bruce's County room today. However, Jovan's hearing lasted all afternoon, therefore Judge Bruce said Ashley Davis' hearing will have to be rescheduled to a later date.
