Excise police arrest 36 over football weekend

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- With Saturday’s big win, and Notre Dame sitting at No. 1 in the BCS rankings, it looks like some people had a little too much fun celebrating.

Indiana State Excise Police arrested 36 people at the game, including 32 minors on 39 charges. One involving illegally consuming alcohol and having a fake ID.

Two adults were arrested after officers broke up a large fight in a parking lot and one cop was even hurt, but not seriously, while breaking up the fight.
