Excise police target local liquor store

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A local liquor store was targeted by the Indiana Excise Police.
Belmont Beverage on South Bend Avenue in South Bend was preliminarily charged with selling alcohol to a minor and allowing them to loiter around the store.
That was just one of IEP's crackdown on underage college drinking during the weekend.
In all, 53 tickets were issued in South Bend.
