SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Summer programming is coming to Dustin's Place to help children deal with grief throughout June and July.
On Thursday, ABC57's Summer Horan spoke with Viki Brown, the executive director of Dustin's Place, about the story behind the grief support organization and what you need to know about the summer grief programs.
The summer programming will run every Tuesday and Wednesday throughout June and July, save for the week of June 15, when Dustin's Place will be closed.
The Tuesday programming is available to kids aged 6 through 13 and runs from 9 to 11 a.m. The Wednesday program is for children aged 3 through 6 and runs from 9 to 11 a.m.
The programs are free, though you do have to register by calling Dustin's Place at (574) 529-0528.
In addition, Dustin's Place is hosting a Remembering Dad Cookout on June 20 and a one-day Camp DP event on July 18.
