Fatal crash on Hochberger Road in Berrien County

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that happened Saturday morning in Berrien Township.
The victim, Thomas Disterheft, was traveling north bound on Hochberger Road when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree, police say.
He was transported to the hospital by ambulance and later pronounced dead.
The crash is currently being investigated by the Berrien County Sheriff’s Crash Reconstruction Unit.
