FDA standardizes "gluten-free" label

The FDA has set new standards for gluten-free labels.

Previously the term was not regulated and manufacturers could use gluten-free on anything.

Now for food packaging to display a "Gluten-free" label it has to have less than 20 parts per million of wheat, barley, or rye.
