Feds push for nationwide texting and phoning ban

UNITED STATES -- A lot of states including Indiana and Michigan already ban texting while driving, but on Tuesday, a bigger push was made by the feds.

They want to ban it in all 50 states, and even go a step further. After a meeting, the National Transportation Safety Board is recommending a nationwide ban on drivers using any form of personal electronic device.

That includes talking on the phone, even if you're doing it hands-free.
