Finals finally over: Notre Dame campus empty for Christmas break

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- No more teachers, no more books!

The campus of Notre Dame is nearly empty.

Most students have headed home for Christmas break.

Finals week wrapped up on Friday.

ABC 57 News spoke to a few students who had their bags packed and ready for vacation.

"It's awesome!  I'm actually done!  Now, it feels really nice to just be able to relax and just do a whole bunch of nothing I guess," said Patrick Flynn, a Notre Dame junior.

Classes will resume at Notre dame on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
