Fire at Suzuki Garphyttan Corp damages equipment

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Fire was called to a fire at Suzuki Garphyttan Corp on Nimtz Parkway around 1 a.m. Sunday.
When firefighters arrived there was an active fire inside the building.
The fire was extinguished quickly.
There was minor damage to the structure, but caused approximately $90,000 damage to equipment inside the building.
The cause and origin of the fire are under investigation.
