ELKHART, Ind. -- The Baugo Township Fire Department announced Wednesday it responded to a car crash on C.R. 16 Tuesday night, transporting one victim and clearing away debris and other hazards.

The department responded to C.R. 16 between C.R. 3 and S.R. 19 where two vehicles had crashed into each other, damaging the front ends of both cars.

One person involved in the crash was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Additionally, the department took an extended cleanup period due to roadway debris and other hazards.

The crash is still under investigation by the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office.
