Firefighters battle trash fire at business on Reliable Path

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Firefighters responded to a fire at the Reliable Disposal transfer station Monday evening, according to the Lincoln Charter Township Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived to the business on Reliable Path at 10:58 p.m. and had the fire under control within 45 minutes.
The fire likely started by spontaneous combustion, firefighters said.
Firefighters left the scene at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday.
There were no injuries.
The Royalton Township Fire Department, Lake Township Fire & Rescue, and Medic 1 Ambulance assisted at the scene.
