First round of Senior PGA tees off

Harbor Shores golf course in Benton Harbor is the backdrop for the 77th Senior PGA Championship, presented by Kitchen Aid.

The field is set at 156. 

Among the big names here is Colin Montgomerie, a two time defending senior PGA champ. If he wins this weekend , he would only be the second to ever win this tournament three times. Other big names include fan favorites like Fred Couples and the always colorful John Daly. This will actually be his senior PGA debut, as he just turned 50 years old.

Maybe the best part of this is it's inexpensive for the whole family to come out. If you want to take part in the action, kids 17 and under get in free. Adults only pay $25 dollars a day. 

The event runs through Memorial Day weekend.
