Fisherman pulled from Lake Maxinkuckee

Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating the death of a fisherman found on Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver.

Just after noon Tuesday, Marshall County Dispatch received a call about a man overboard from a construction worker on shore.

The body has been identified as Richard Corl, 86.

Corl was fishing before entering the water.

First responders pulled Corl from the water and transported him to Plymouth Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Conservation Officers urge everyone to wear a coast guard-approved life jacket when you’re on or near the water.
