Five people dead after plane crashes at airport

Five people are dead after a plane crash, at a North Carolina airport.

The plane went down while trying to land.

Officials say the small plane approached the airport at a steep angle, then flipped.

When the pilot tried to correct the approach, the plane exploded.
 
An investigation is now underway.
