As the familiar saying goes "April showers bring May flowers" and that is a perfect way to introduce the full moon nickname for this month!
This time of year, spring flowers are everywhere hence the name Flower Moon!
It is also known as the Full Corn Planting Moon, Milk Moon, Hare Moon, Dragon Moon, Planting Moon, Big Famine Moon, Panther Moon, Moon When Leaves Are Green, Moon to Plant, Bright Moon, Grass Moon, and the Moon When Ice Goes out of the River.
