Former Governor Joe Kernan put together a week-long drive to help homeless veterans and make sure we never forget their sacrifices.
Kernan's Heroes collected things like clothes, personal hygiene products, blankets, pillows, and cleaning supplies.
Thursday, more than five truck loads of goods were dropped off at Life Treatment Center in South Bend.
"Just to be able to give back to these guys, to be able to say, 'Hey thanks for what you've done for us and for our country,'" said VFW Patriot Officer Michael Wells.
