SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Fozzie and his buddy Kermit are returning to the Studebaker National Museum with their 1951 Studebaker Commander after 18 months of restoration in North Carolina.
The Studebaker now on display at the museum was one of two identical cars used in the 1979 move: The Muppets.
Fozzie’s car was first put on display by the museum in 2004, but had suffered damage from sitting outside for several years after production wrapped on the movie.
If you’d like a closer look at the piece of movie history, the exhibit opened Wednesday and is open through February of 2026.
You can also watch our social media coverage of the display on our Facebook.
