Recycled trees will be made into mulch and compost.

Residents are asked to adhere to the following rules to ensure a safe and efficient pickup:

  • All trees must be put on the curb by 6 a.m. on the day of pickup. Trees should not be in the street or alley. Cars should not be parked on top of or in front of the tree.
  • All lights, ornaments, plastic coverings, and metals such be removed from the tree before it's picked up. Items left on the tree could injure employees or damage the tree shredding equipment.
  • Artificial trees and trees with metal, glass, or wire will not be collected.

The free recycling program only includes one tree per household.

If you want multiple trees picked up, it will cost an extra $10 per tree.

After January 31, tree pickups will be counted as the residents' free monthly yard waste extra pickup.
