ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Tuesday, February 4, 2025
Temperatures will dip into the middle 20s overnight under mostly cloudy skies. Most of Wednesday will be quiet, but we are still expecting freezing rain to move in late Wednesday night. The latest update is to push the start time back. So, freezing rain will enter Michiana around 8 PM and make it to the state line around 10 PM. Our forecast ice amounts, however, are relatively unchanged, with most of the area picking up 0.1" to 0.2" of freezing rain. These amounts will likely lead to slick travel for the Thursday morning commute. Freezing rain should end around 7 AM for most of Michiana. Temperatures near 40 should help melt the ice during the afternoon Thursday. While Friday is quiet, another round of wintry mix is to set to impact Michiana on Saturday. At this point, snow looks to be a bigger part of that forecast, but there still will also likely be some freezing rain as well.
Tonight: Cloudy. Low 23.
Wednesday: Cloudy. High 33. Freezing rain arrives at night.
Thursday: Freezing rain and slick roads early, then cloudy and breezy. High 40.
Friday: Mostly cloudy. High 32.
