Fundraising event planned to aid Ramona Roller Rink

DOWAGIAC, Mich. -- After a fire burned a beloved local roller rink to the ground earlier this month, members of the community are rallying to help get the rink rebuilt. 

Thomas Lane shared on Facebook that he will be organizing a Truck and Car Show on June 8 that will have a raffle, giveaways, trophies and more.

"I have teamed up with some of the most reputable clubs in the state. We will be hosting a raffle with an assortment of items. All Proceeds we raise from the event will be donated to Ramona Roller Rink to help rebuild," Lane wrote. "Everyone is welcome. Open to the public. You won’t want to miss out on the biggest Truck and Car Show to come to Sister Lakes, Michigan‼️"

The event will take place from noon to 5 p.m. at 93103 CO Road 690 in Dowagiac.
