Funeral services for Lt. Eugene Lasco announced

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. – The funeral for Lt. Eugene Lasco, with full honors, will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. CST at the Orak Shrine in Michigan City.
The Orak Shrine is located at 3848 N. Frontage Rd. in Michigan City.
A short ceremony to remove and transport Lasco’s body to the burial location in Decatur, Ill, will happen on Monday at 8 a.m. The ceremony will begin at Root Funeral Home, 312 E. 7th St. in Michigan City.
A full, uninterrupted police escort will ensue to the burial location. There, a small, private ceremony and flag presentation will take place.
