Future of Galien Schools unknown

GALIEN, Mich. -- Galien Township Schools have some tough decisions ahead!
This week, administrators met with the State of Michigan to discuss their options.
Right now, Galien owes the state $500,000, but the district has filed an appeal.
The school board could decide to close the district at the end of the year, wait until the end of the school year, or they could restructure.
A decision could come as early as next week.
