Galien School Board focuses on settling future plans

GALIEN, Mich. -- The Galien Township School Board will start hammering out the details.

The board voted to keep the district open last week, at least through the end of the school year. Now, it needs to come up with a plan.

Monday night, the board will decide which teachers to call back, and what programs need to go.

The district owes the state of Michigan $500,000.
