GALS at the park for science on April 15

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Girls Ambitious about Learning Science (GALS) are coming together on April 15 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hurwich Shelter to learn about animals, nature and the environment.

Funded by the Dr. Elmer R. Graber Youth Fund for Exploring Nature, this is a free event for girls in grades 5-8.

Lunch and snacks will be provided.

The registration deadline is April 10.

Local women in science will lead the activities, including interactive experiments and presentations.
