Gas leak in La Porte County repaired

A gas leak in La Porte County that caused road closures and affected the South Shore line has been repaired.
The gas leak was in the Hudson Lake area of the county.
NIPSCO crews said a 3 inch gas line near John Emery Road and Cr 700 N was struck.
Roads in the area were closed while the gas line was repaired.
All roads have since reopened and the South Shore Line has resumed service through the area.
