Gas leak on Ryer Street leads to evacuations

Residents of Ryer Street in South Bend were evacuated because of a gas leak Friday evening.
A resident on Ryer Street ran into the gas meter on the side of his home with his car.
The accident broke the meter below the regulator.
NIPSCO crews repaired the gas leak.
