Friday, October 19, is Fall Festival at YMCA OF ELKHART COUNTY
[ELKHART, IND.] – Friday, October 19, YMCA OF ELKHART COUNTY invites everyone throughout the community to attend its fifth annual Fall Festival. Held at the Y on Jackson Boulevard from 5:30-7:30 pm, Fall Festival is a chance to gather with friends and families, connecting the entire community.
“As we transition from Summer to the busy holiday season, we offer your family this time together,” says Darrell Peterson, Executive Director of the Y. “Time for fun, time to laugh, time to share and time to build traditions that match your ideals and help make ends meet for others in our community.”
For only $1 per person, or the donation of canned goods, everyone can take part in a variety of activities, including: games, face painting, cookie decorating, crafts and prizes. Pizza from Little Caesars is available at $1 per slice. The pool will be decorated for a “haunted swim” and open to the public for an additional $1 per person. Families are encouraged to dress in costume.
Proceeds benefit families in Elkhart County find the resources and support they need. WFRN is partnering with the Y for this event.
