Starke County face-to-face with severe weather
We're still stuck with cloudy but generally dry weather for most of Michiana. A few rogue showers may cross over from Chicagoland into our area later this morning and into the afternoon, but no major impacts are expected during the day or evening commute. Highs will stick around the low 40s this afternoon and temperatures sink to just below freezing tonight. The low level jet strengthens tomorrow, bringing in scattered showers periodically on Wednesday and much heavier and more consistent showers Thursday and Friday. A few thunderstorms are possible near the end of the week as well as temperatures rise up to the 50s, 60s, and potentially 70s by the weekend.
Today: Mostly cloudy. High 42.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 30.
Wednesday: Scattered showers. High 52.
Thursday: Rain. High 57.
